1. Switching the name of the Podyma sim to Zindra Gateway Sim.

2. Meeting Minutes
PROCEDURE: Community Secretary: FAQs
The Community Secretary is a position approved of by Blondin Linden and the Zindra Alliance owner. Both parties have agreed to have a position in the Zindra Alliance group as Community Secretary. Those that wish to volunteer as a community secretary can ask Counter Landfall for the Secretary tag in the Zindra Alliance group. The secretaries will take turns handling the agenda for a month at a a time.The Community Secretary (CS) will post the full meeting transscript each week to this blog and then extract the questions and answers from the transcript that will make up the Agenda for the following week's agenda.

The agenda will be posted here and on Blondin's wiki page.

Anyone can add items to the agenda by posting in the agenda topics post here (in comments) or add to Blondin's wiki. The agenda is closed 24 hours before the Monday meeting (Sunday at 11AM)

At that time the secretary will attend a open community meeting at the CES office in Zindra to meet with community members and clarify agenda items.

Distribute the agenda to the Zindra Alliance group Sunday evening and to anyone that needs it Monday morning before or at the community meeting.

3. Ginette's Exploring Zindra Flickr Group: Inworld Slideshow presentation.

a. What Item is delivered upon touching the slideshow?

b. Is the contenbt of the slideshow PG so it can be distributed everywhere?

c. Besides Podyan, specifically where outside of Zindra will the slideshow be placed?

d. Why does the Flickr slide show kiosks only show photos from Ginettes flickr and why does IT not give age verification info and an LM for a Zindra Gateway? - colleen Criss

4. Ginette's Island Maze Proposal

Recap: Art Maze 2011 is a proposal I have had available for review, for months, and I have assembled a team already (there are 8 of us so far with room for more!). I've talked it up in the arts community (which is a very lucrative part of SL) and interest seems high. I believe it's a natural idea that appeals to many categories and will be high-profile enough and inclusive enough to reach far outside Zindra and attract attention. I think that involving the Arts is great way to crossover into a large market. Art Maze seems to have instant appeal to anyone I've spoken with.

QUESTIONS:

a. Will there be adult content in the Maze: ANSWER: YES

b. Will outside people be allowed to present artwork in this event that takes place in Zindra? ANSWER:YES - This answer not accepted by some members of the community. To be discussed further. FORWARDED TO 10/25 AGENDA.

5. Ginette's Zindra Mentor Team

[11:47] Ginette Pinazzo: In light of this topic, I'd like to propose that we form a special Zindra Mentor Team. This will be a brainstorming team with the following mission: To think of as many ideas as possible, and develop them into actual proposals, for programs that connect with existing SL Mentor programs OR are new Zindra Mentor programs.

7. Blondin proposes what we do when he is not available to attend the meetings

[11:53] Blondin Linden: If I cancel a meeting, please do feel free to have a meeting. The meeting may want to be cut in half to 30 minutes but since the agenda is up on the wiki, I think if you just stick to the clock, you can forward me any notes afterwards.

8. Guest Speakers
Although Ginette already had a guest seaker at our Oct. 15th meeting, we can take a few minutes and start defining a system to book guest speakers. Since we have two weeks of speakers booked - we can take our time and discuss this.

Zindran colleen Criss has arranged for Krystal Devonshire and wyn nightly of NCI to speak at the Oct. 25th Community Meeting in Bronlen at 11:30 AM. They will tealk to us about NCI's presence in Zindra and inform us where all of their locations are.

The following week we have the founder of MENTORS GONE WILD, Heaven Lacey will speak to the Zindra Community about their activities in Zindra. This will take place Monday, November 1st at 11:30 AM

*This is just for information only. Nothing is needed from Linden Lab for us to have these meetings and and develop events to take place within Zindra and market said events within Zindra and on parcels resident's own outside of Zindra. The meeting report will be made available every Sunday by 6PM SL time at the CES office, posted to the Zindra Alliance group and a link to the minutes online sent to the ZEXPO group.

10, Age Verification Kiosks in the Mainland Infohubs

Why are the age verification kiosks NOT out at all info hubs? - colleen Criss

In February I did send a TICKET into the Second Life Help center and recieved a positive rely from Blondin throught that system in March of this year. But, to date, we have not moved forward on placing these kiosks. We seem to be spending quite a bit of eberegy on these ohoto kiosks (that have adult images in them and cannot be placed in the infohubs outside of Zindra) Instead of just getting these G-rated adult verification Kiosks in place and do something positive about the serach firewall that hides Zindra Business from over 90% of new and old players in Secopnd Life.

I hope that this can be arranged by March 16th in time to advertise the Zindra Adult Expo properly.

Please let me know so we can get builders to pull together networked prototypes that can be chosen from for this purpose.

Hi Lias,

Unfortunately, we don't have the bandwidth internally to accomplish this. If you wanted to build out a kiosk, I could help place them around the infohubs but keep in mind, all content and images would need to be as close to PG as possible.

So he said we cannot have NETWORKED Kiosks (for easy updating) but we can have stand-alone kiosks in the mainland infohubs outside of Zindra. We need to move forward on this.Italic text

A notice was sent out to the ZA group to see if anyone has a kiosk design (non-networked, low prim) that can be used as the Adult verification Kiosk Blondin can place in the mature and PG Infohubs and welcome areas on the mainland.

11. * What is the purpose of the Zindra Expo group?

I ask that Blondin clearly states the purpose of this group and clarifies if it is indeed a Linden led community group. If it is not a community group, this must be reflected both in the group charter and how this group is handled. The original purpose of the group was a pure, once off event group. - Counter Landfall
